With towns like Carbondale, Glenwood Springs, Snowmass Village and Aspen nearby there is plenty of things to do and see.
Carbondale is the closest town to Redstone and Marble. It is only 20 miles from Marble away and offers some delightful dinning opportunities as well as great shopping. It boasts the closest gas station, grocery store and cell phone service. Its the best place to stop before heading to Marble to fill up the car and cooler.
Glenwood Springs is a short 40 minute drive from Chair Mountain Ranch home to the famous Hot Springs pool and Vapor caves. Glenwood Springs is where a stretch of the Colorado River called Shoshone gives rafters the times of their lives. Hanging Lake in the Glenwood Canyon is a popular hiking trail that thousands trek every year.
Aspen and Snowmass village are about 1.5 hour drive from Marble and offer some of the best in dinning and window shopping. Aspen remains very busy during the summer while Snowmass Village stays much quieter and hosts the Snowmass Balloon Fest. There are plenty of Mountain Biking trails in Snowmass and a variety of hiking trails can be found in the area but can be very busy during peak months.
