weather:
The Rocky Mountains are known for their cool summers and cold winters and at an elevation of 7,000 feet the weather can change rapidly.
Days are often pleasant, into the 70’s and 80’s rarely reaching into the 90’s. Evening temperatures drop into the cool 50’s and get there quickly. Afternoon showers are common, mainly in the spring, but are usally short lived.
A common phrase in the Colorado Rockies is, “if you don’t like the weather, wait five minutes, it will change.
Plan accordingly, summer months may still require sweaters if you plan on being out after sunset.

calendar:
Spring: The wild flowers are in full bloom, especially on the higher, off road trails. The river is high, a kayaker’s and rafter’s dream.
Summer: The weather is nice to enjoy all the numerous activities that the Rocky Mountains have to offer.
Fall: come see the spectacular colors as the aspen trees prepare to shed their leaves, there are fewer crowds and the weather can still be very pleasant.
Winter: hunting season starts, with sparse crowds and unpredictable weather.

Due to the unpredictable nature of the mountains weather can change dramatically without warning, fall colors come at different times every year and snow pack can last longer some years than others.
Refunds will not be given due to weather conditions
